What is an Alarm Call System?
Alarm call systems are offered in most retirement properties and provide 24 hour cover with a central care line for use in emergencies, such as a fall or a fire.
The alarm call facility is usually accessed via the telephone, via a pull cord and more frequently via a pendant that the residents can wear around their wrist or neck so always close to hand.
Alarm call pull cords are usually added to communal areas as well as in each apartment.
