Buying a Retirement Flat for a parent
Many children are investing in retirement properties with the thought that their parent or parents can live in the property and it can be used for themselves when they reach the required age and are ready to downsize.
The lease usually states that the occupancy must be held be someone over 60 (or in some cases 55), and therefore possible for the children to purchase the property for their parent.
